Keratin treatments are generally safe 2 to 3 weeks after colouring, once the cuticle has settled. If you're unsure whether your hair is ready, bring your colour history to your consultation and we'll advise honestly, even if that means waiting a little longer before treatment.

Avoid washing your hair, tying it up or clipping it back for the first 48 to 72 hours after treatment, since this is when the formula fully sets into the hair shaft. After that window, switch to a sulphate-free shampoo, as regular shampoo strips the treatment faster. Heat styling is fine once the initial setting period is over, and most clients find they need far less blow-drying time than before.
